Vale Jane Burns

Arts Law is saddened to hear of the passing of Jane Burns AM.

Jane served as Arts Law’s first Vice president from 1984 – 1989. A giant of the Australian craft sector, her guidance and vision were instrumental in building our young organisation and have continued to be so in our ongoing support for craftspeople, designers and makers. During her time on the Arts Law board, 1988, Jane became a Member of the Order of Australia for her services to craft. We extend our condolences to her family.
