This sample Interviewee’s Release (With payment) should be used when an interviewer or producer wishes to film or record interviews with another person whether for use in a research project, museum exhibition, film or radio project, or any other purpose. This agreement is appropriate where the interviewee is receiving a payment for participating in the interview. It contains alternative clauses either for unlimited uses or enabling limits to be placed on the uses to which the interview and accompanying footage or sound recording may be put. If there is no payment being made, it is more appropriate to use Arts Law’s sample Interviewee’s Release – Short Form (No Payment).
