Volunteer Opportunities

In 2023 our volunteer lawyers gave 6703 hours of their time to Arts Law.  

Pro bono lawyers provide advice to clients, accompany Arts Law staff on outreach trips, help draft submissions to government and write plain English resources for artists. This works magnifies our capacity and greatly increases the number of artists we are able to reach.

As a non-for-profit, our resources are finite and the value of pro bono support is above and beyond what we could afford. Without the ongoing support of our pro bono partners we would not be able to continue to do our vital work, it’s that simple. 

Thank you to all our wonderful volunteer lawyers, pro bono partner firms, secondees, and interns. Your contribution is invaluable.
